Who is Michelle Obama?

We've got the details.
There's been a ton of chatter about the new First Lady's style, but we wanted to know more about Mrs. Obama's substance. She's a pretty amazing woman.
Michelle Robinson Obama was born on January 17, 1964 and raised in a one-bedroom apartment on Chicago's South Shore.
After high school, Michelle majored in sociology at Princeton University, graduating with cum laude honors in 1985. From there, she attended Harvard, where she earned her law degree in 1988, one year ahead of her husband-to-be Barack, whom she hadn't met yet but who attended the same law school.
First Lady Michelle Obama's impressive resume includes: Former associate dean at the University of Chicago; a member of six boards of directors, including the prestigious Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and Tree House Foods; and Vice President, Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals. In this position, she was responsible for all programs and initiatives that involve the relationships between the hospitals and the community, as well as management of the hospitals' business diversity program.
It's obvious First Lady Michelle Obama has a lot more going on than just great fashion sense. Do you think we can expect amazing things from her in the next four years?

I too think she will be a great first lady. She comes across as a caring, nurturing mother and wife as well as intelligent and well spoken. Michelle seems strong enough to speak out when things concern her or her family. I feel she is proving herself to be a good role model and a real one. Wishing her and her husband all the best in this new stage of their lives.
