Mom! Get off Facebook, Puh-leaaase?!

By now, almost everyone you know is on Facebook. Including your mother. That's right, yo' mama. Facebook is no longer just for teenagers or 30 somethings trying to network professionally and romantically. Now, moms, (old moms! even Grandmas!) are on Facebook. When Cathy Weisbeker, a 53-year-old mom, signed up for Facebook, her goal wasn't to embarrass and ruin the lives of her two teenagers. She simply wanted to enhance her own life and reconnect with old classmates.
So the question is, like, OMG, will her kids accept her friendship?
Ditto Crystal. I begged my mother and father to join facebook. I am 28 and they live in another state. We have family in Europe, Canada & South America and the majority of my family is on facebook. I love that I can connect with them, see pics, etc whenever. I have to agree with the previous poster (crystal) if your embarrassed go to myspace ;)

My mother and grandmother are both on facebook. They aren’t there to network, they like playing the games. If you’re embarassed about your mom being online…. grow up a little.
