Life as they know it is forever changed. President-Elect Barack Obama and his family are moving to the nation's capital this weekend into the historic Hay-Adams hotel near the White House.

The Inauguration is not until January 20th, but the Mom and Dad want their girls in school in time for the new term on Monday in order to get settled into their routine.

President-Elect Obama will have a full work schedule and be on the Hill working out details for an economic stimulus package, which he wants to pass as soon as he takes office. He is also being briefed on the growing military conflict between Israel and Palestine
