For the first time, the number of obese people in America surpasses the number who are overweight.
According to the National Center for Health Statistics 34 percent of Americans are obese, compared to 32.7 percent who are overweight and 6 percent are "extremely" obese.
One-third of Adults, or 72 million people, were considered obese in the government health study, which took place between 2005 and 2006. The obesity rate in America has more than doubled since 1980, but the number of overweight people has remained stable.
Childhood obesity is also reaching epic proportions. The CDC reported last May that 32 percent of U.S. children were overweight and 16 percent obese.

Ordinary this post is totaly unrelated to what I used to be searching google for, but it used to be listed at the first page. I assume your doing something right if Google likes you adequate to put you on the first page of a non comparable search.
