Pregnant Woman Forced to Expose Bulging Belly

A 40-year-old expectant mother was forced to lift her shirt publicly after employees at a liquor store accused her of shoplifting on Monday.
The eight-month pregnant woman says she was buying a birthday present for a friend.
The Choice Liquor staff allegedly told the woman that if she refused to be searched in front of the other customers that they would notify the authorities.
Now, an outraged consumer group is calling for a ban on strip searches.
"Here we have a totally innocent woman being forced to parade her naked midriff inside a busy liquor store after being falsely accused of shoplifting," said Mr Tully, a Queensland Consumer Watch spokesman.
He adds, "The government needs to move quickly to ban this sort of unacceptable practice."

Look if she’s dumb enough to do that just because some overly zealous store security guard told her too then she has more problems than just this. Unless they held a gun to her head or physically put their hands on her she wasn’t FORCED to do anything.
No way in HELL would I do anything other than demand for the police to be called and let THEM sort it out.

Most of the maternity clothes women were are skin tight so we have to look at their belly whether we want to or not.

I feel sorry for her, feeling pressured and panicky in that state. How horrible.
