Have you seen the ads for cotton clothing brand American Apparel? Well, apparently your kids have -- and the sexy campaign is working on them.
Unlike most teen targeted brands, American Apparel increased same-store sales by 22% in 2008. Gap Inc. reported a 14% drop and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. had a 24% decline in sales. Perhaps it's those provocative ads they have been pounding over our heads for the past few years.
