Three boys tried to sell a baby in a classified advertisement because the baby cried to much, according to police.

The teens told police that is was a prank and that there was never a baby.

They had placed a photo of the infant on Craigslist.com and wrote, "Damn kid won't stop crying and its pissing me off drive out here and you can have it ... baby girl 5 weeks old get it the f... outa here."

The students are expected to be disciplined through their school system.

The baby in the photo has not been identified.
