Students Threatened with Exclusion for Being Too Blond

A high school headmaster forced two teenage girls to leave school because their hair was too blond.

Raegan Booth, 16, and Aby Western, 15, say that they were threatened with exclusion from exams if they didn't go home and darken their hair.

Headmaster David Alexander claims that he was trying to maintain a certain standard for all pupils at the school.

Raegan argued that her hair color wouldn't distract her from her school work. "To me this suggests that certain students are being made to look a way which is against their will," she said. "I believe this is wrong and no amount of hair dye affects a person's ability in school."

Alexander said that he only sent the girls home to darken their hair and that they would not be barred from the upcoming exams.

You realize that this article wasn’t written by them, correct? By the way.. *headmaster’s point. Don’t correct if you can’t type, yourself.

Gee, are we blond or the author of the article??? I assumed that the article was written by a professional, I am not, nor do I post as an authority of any kind. But to help those who may miss my lame sense of humor, the ideal was a continuation of that stupid stereo type about blonds, that “blondness is infectious”, infecting the headmaster, the writer, me, but obviously some have thankfully had, oh my god, their inoculations from stupid humor.

This makes no sense to me. I could understand if their hair color/style was a distraction i.e.: Mohawk or to blue, but being to blonde? There is something fishy about this story. Are they bad students, or have they caused trouble in the past?

Well, RH Dude, at least you admit you’re stupid; that’s the first step.
