A woman attempted to avoid arrest by faking birth pains...and she wasn't even pregnant!
Sioux Falls police tried to arrest the woman on shoplifting and drug charges after she was caught stealing at a local mall.
As she was arrested, the woman claimed that she was going into labor and was driven to the hospital in an ambulance.
Doctors quickly determined that the pregnancy was false. The woman will have to pay for the ambulance ride and hospital visit.
