Ashley Judd is helping an animal rights group take a stand against Alaska's practice of killing bears and wolves from airplanes.

The actress appears in an Internet video for Defenders of Wildlife which targets the state's predator control program and supporter Gov. Sarah Palin.

"It's time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery," Judd says in the video.

Gov. Palin rebutted saying that the program was a tool to sustain caribou and moose populations for subsistence hunters.

Defenders of Wildlife say that more than 800 wolves have been killed since the program's inception nearly five years ago.

When someone has to live around wolves they find out how destructive and viscous they can be, wolves in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming are creating so many problems, killing livestock and threatening humans this goes for the grizzly bear also both species being protected under the ESA, people like Ashley Judd live in a protective bubble where they have no idea what it is like to struggle to live, they just want to protect the cute little puppies, they are not very cute when they start eating your livelyhood, destroying your livestock that you depend on financially. She cannot possibly understand that you cannot even go for a walk when you live around wolves or grizzly bears you always have to have some protection or you may be their next meal, locating some wolves and grizzly bear around her home would be a good start for her gaining some understanding if she had children she would never let them even go for a walk or a bike ride, you become a prisoner in your own home, and if you ever had to shoot one to protect yourself or your livestock or your family dog then you could very well be spending thousands of dollars defending your self in the courts, it is ridiculous. She should live it before she starts judging and throwing stones. How can someone who makes millions of dollars a year and leads a pampered life even understand that some people do have to kill a moose to feed their family or it is their culture it has been a part of their life for hundreds of years.

Lynn, for me its not a point that they are being hunted, but hunted from PLANES. That is horrid and not a level playing field. We came into these animals territory and have to live with them, the least they could do was actually hunt, and not pick them off like ants.
