A mother of two died after crashing her snowmobile in western Massachusetts.

Police say that the 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead on arrival at Berkshire Medical Center.

Her daughter had been riding the same snowmobile, but was unharmed. The husband and three-year-old son were on a separate sled and were not hurt in the incident.

The mother's identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
