Is an artist who paints his daughter in the buff crossing the line?
I wouldn't care how good a painter my husband was -- if he had the idea to paint our daughter in the nude, he'd be signing divorce papers faster than you could say "Picasso."
Some have berated the father and daughter for crossing the lines of morality and criticized their actions as distasteful. But the dad says he only began using his daughter as a nude model "after getting her approval." Whew. That's a load off our minds.
We asked psychologist Dr. Michelle Golland what she makes of this strange artistic alliance. "Since she's not a minor," says Dr. Gollard, "I have to think to myself, is someone being harmed in this scenario?. Is there a history of abuse in the past? If not, she's an adult and can make the decisions for herself. "
What do you think. Do these pictures take "Daddy's little girl" one step too far?
