PiscesCasey Anthony's Dad Released from Hospital
George Anthony returns home after and 11-day stay in a hospital.
George Anthony was finally released from the hospital Tuesday night. The grandfather of murdered toddler Caylee Anthony was admitted to Halifax Hospital in Florida over a week ago after he threatened to kill himself.
Using cell phone signals and GPS technology, Anthony was found at at a motel with prescription pills, beer and a partially-written suicide note.
He was admitted to Halifax under Florida's Baker Act, which allows authorities to hold a person against their will for up to 72 hours.
The bereaved grandfather remained at the facility about a week longer than required.
Attorney Brad Conway told the Orlando Sentinel, "He's feeling good. He's ready. He's totally receptive. And this is part of the healing process. He knows that his family needs him, and he's ready to move forward."
George's daughter, Casey Anthony, is charged with Caylee's murder. Her trial isn't expected to take place until later this year at the earliest.

I dont understand how two people who raised this little girl for over two years would allow this girl to put them off from seeing her for so long my granddaughter is with me 5 or 6 days and nights a week. If her parents could not produce her in one day i would have been at the cops. There is no way i would try and cover for my son or daughter.George is like he is because he knows the truth even if he doesnt admit it out loud.
The Anthony parents, like so many others, are TRYING TO LOCK THE BARN DOOR AFTER THE HORSE HAS BEEN STOLEN. The Bible states it quite succinctly: TRAIN A CHILD IN THE WAY IT SHOULD GO AND WHEN IT IS OLD IT WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT. Why do they insist on trying to raise a 22 year old child now? In the words of Jerry Seinfeld,’if the pills don’t work, get a rope. If the rope breaks, get a tune-up’. Nice try George.
Poor George, and I mean it. His current state of distress is the result of the burdens he has carried and the denial he has needed to live in with Cindy and Casey in order to survive day to day. Caylee was the light of his life, and then the lies and deceipt took over when she left. He knows the truth about all of it and he knows what Cindy has told him to say happened. he knows Casey left in the middle of the night with Caylee after the fight on Father’s day…not the next day…he knows what was in the trunk and when and where that little baby’s body was placed and moved…He would have placed stickers there for her if he could, and her pony and her blanket…poor George!!
my heart has always gone out to him from day one. he got cheated all the way around. I think he has been thinking and hurting about this for the right reason and that’s the life that the little girl could of had.I do agree with l.p. on the whole thing …..

I believe he is going to another hospital closer to home. I really think he needs to stay in there for awhile.(not in the clunches of cindy) and get some professional help. Let’s hope then he can come out and tell the REAL truth.(That he knows or thinks his daughter is guilty)
