If Heath Ledger wins the award for best supporting actor at the Academy Awards on Sunday, his three-year-old daughter Matilda Rose Ledger will take home the Oscar statuette.

Legally, she won't officially own the statuette until her 18th birthday on Oct. 28, 2023 when she is old enough to sign the contract.

The young girl, and her mother actress Michelle Williams, have been designated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to receive the late Ledger's award if he wins for his portrayal of the Joker in "The Dark Knight."
