Doctors are investigating why a baby grew the first eight months after her birth - and then stayed the same size for the next six!
Suraya Brown weighs only seven pounds and is 19 inches tall, the same as she was when she was an infant.
"[Doctors] consulted international experts about her case but her condition seems to be a complete mystery," said Atlanta Ruzman, Suraya's mother.
One theory is that her little body became resistant to its own growth hormones. "I have certainly never seen anything like this and I have been in pediatrics for nearly 17 years," said consultant pediatrician Dr. Jide Menakaya.
