Everyone wants to get in on it and “help” the mom but no one really cares about the babies. They are only thinking about what pubiclity they will receive.

I think the babies are SOOOO important in this whole crazy thing and if someone is wiling to help these babies get the care that they need, i think its selfish to let one’s pride get in the way of accepting help. It’s ridiculous not to accept the offer. These babies need care.

Why does this not surprise me ?? The kids would have been taken care of, which seems not to concern her. This plan was not financially pleasing to Ms. Suleman, however. The donations would go to the kids needs, but she would not have control over how they were spent. Didn’t she state in an interview that she needs to let go of her control and accept the offers of help ??? Was that yet another of her many lies ????

OK, if I’d had any doubts about Nadya Suleman’s sanity before, they have been vanquished now. I’m raising just one child on my own and wouldn’t turn down any help that comes along! WTH?!?!

They just want to keep her under they thumb. And if Angels in Waiting were taking care of the 8 they would benefit greatly from all of the coverage. It’s all self interest.

Dee, I think you are forgetting that this charity that made the offer did so privately and once she(Nadya) didn’t respond, then they went the way of having Gloria Allred help, so it doesn’t sound to me like they are really hungry for publicity, it sounds like these people actually care.

In a way, I am glad that the offer was turned down. Now Child Protective Services can see that this woman has no means to care for these children independently and is unwilling to accept help. I’d imagine the offer came with some stipulations that Suleman didn’t like (for instance, no use of the children as a circus side-show in the media [which means no $$]). It is obvious this woman is only out to get a $$ by any means she can… including exploiting her children. They should all be taken away.

That’s a good point Kristen. But why go to Gloria Allred. Angels in Waiting may be one of the goods guys and I am not saying the this woman is not some nut-job. Sometimes you have to wonder about people’s intentions when they offer help. I think that is what Suleman is doing. I don’t thing there is a question as to if Suleman is a little wacky.

At this point does it really matter whether or not ‘Angels in Waiting’ did it for publicity or not. Their offer was to care for the octuplets and provide housing and care for the mom/nutjob and 6 siblings. Allowing them to stay together as a family. Who else would do this? Nadya should have accepted this offer if she really had the best interest of her 14 children at heart.

take every single one of those kids, sterilize the mom and block every single attempt for her to cash in on the celebrity of being their mom. this is absolutely freakin RIDICULOUS!!!! i am struggling just to get a job and have two grown children. no one ever offered me a movie deal or book deal or asked me to star in a porn movie. wtf? why do we keep rewarding her? why are we so eager to give her our hard earned money while she sits there on her fat butt doing nothing????

So far other than Angels no one else is coming forward to really try to help this woman and she’s willing to turn it down. Chances were good that whatever fine print she didn’t like was that other than the care for her children and a home for them all there was nothing in it for her. I agree that the children should not be punished for the actions of their mother. This woman is seen on a continuing basis thinking more of herself that the precious lives of 14 innocent children. It is going to be left up for a court decide if the sins of the mother are going to rest with the children. It is so obvious that this woman is going to turn down any offer of help for these children that she does not directly benefit from be it monetarily or with goods. Face it folks, this is only the beginning. Sooner or later everyone will see the complete true colors of this woman when she keeps being denied what she really wants, and her wants don’t seem to be revolved around her children. It is amazing what great lengths she will go to get publicity. She still has no way to justify what a terrible choice she has made. I have 1 son and in this day and age, it is very expensive to raise a child with the basic neccessities. I am a proud mother to an 8 year old that was born prematurely. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Not all problems come forth at birth. I was blessed that my son didn’t have long term problems. I can still remember the sleepless nights, having to wake up every 2 hours to feed him only 1.5 ounces of milk because that was all his little tummy could take. The first 6 months was a battle to keep him breathing and fed. I am sure that she has no clue what it will take to care for 1 let alone 8 preemies. I pray that she will stop being so selfish and stop exploiting these precious babies. It only seems that she is looking a a big payday.

I think it is disgusting that the State of California Department and Children & Families does not step in and evaluate the situation more so than the hospital social worker and staff. It is clear that a single unworking mom living in a foreclosed home about to go to auction cannot possibly care for 14 kids, as the 6 at home are living in squalor conditions with mattresses on the floor and the home in absolute shambles. For Nadya to be seen even having a minute to patronize the Mac counter and get her nails done, just shows her priorities. And where is the bank to revoke her school loans? Those loans should go to someone who actually would use it towards education! My husband and I are unable to concieve and have approved homestudy and are ready willing and able like I’m sure many Americans are to take custody of those kids and give them a proper upbringing, something an irresponsible person such as herself bringing 14 kids into the world with no job or help could ever provide. Her arrogance in refusing help from The Angels is just more defiance and shows how much she is in denial, and only has her hand out for cash which in her mind is the solution to everything. The bank should sue her back for her school loans. The disability settlement she received and lived off due to back problems is a joke. How does one get preggo so many times if you have a bad back, that would be the last thing healthy for you. Yet, did bad back stop her from shopping at wal-mart for holiday gifts? Yeah, she may be a very good actress, but the world shouldn’t give one cent, only donations of diapers or formula for babies, or option for her to have them taken care of by someone other than her. Squishy as her eldest said is far from the problems she is about to have unleashed in that household with 8 crying babies at once in one room, what on the floor? Where are the cribs? Where are the bottles of forumla ready to go? diapers? Does she even have a rag to put on their backs for clothing? That fertility doctor of hers needs to have his license revoked as well! He has no business doing what he did.

Last week a video clip of Nadya filling up at a gas station was making the rounds on the Internet. While an unknown man pumped her gas she sat in the vans driver’s seat covering her face with a children’s book. This setting was pretty innocuous except for the handicapped placard hanging from her rear view mirror. Did anyone else see this clip and notice what I did? Is she handicapped? I thought one had to be handicapped to posses and use a handicapped display. It appears that Nadya is gaming the system on more levels than anyone imagined.

I JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION ISNT IT ILLEGAL TO HAVE MORE THAN 8 CATS IN A DWELLING. HOW THE HELL IS THIS CRAZY LADY GOING TO GET AWAY WITH HAVING ALL OF THOSE CHILDREN WHO ARE OBVIOSLY BEING NEGLECTED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER IN ONE 3 BEDROOM HOUSE. HOW SELFISH CAN ONE WOMAN BE WEATHER OR NOT SHE WANTED CHILDREN SHE ALREADY HAD CHILDREN. SHAME ON HER THERE ARE MILLIONS OF STARVING CHILDREN IN THIS WORLD AND IF SHE WANTED TO REPLENISH THE EARTH SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE IT BY TAKING CARE OF SOMEONE ELSES NEEDS INSTEAD OF HER OWN. I HONESTLY THINK THOSE CHILDREN ARE BETTER OFF IN A LOVING HOME THAT ALSO HAS FINANCIAL STABILITY WHICH SHE CERTAINLY DOES NOT. sorry for the rant thats just how I feel. it sickens me to think about how many of those 6 children go to bed hungry at night.

who really cares wha the stipulations in it were. Those babies were going to be cared for. If one of the stipulations were no more circuse or tv interviews for this wake job, then i say good. She clearly turned down help which she knows she needs. Where in the world is CPS at? Take the help or loose your children. That wouldd motivate me if i were her
