Jennifer Moss, founder of babynames.com, gives meaning to the octuplets' baby names.
Nadya Suleman has named her babies: Josiah, Noah, Isaiah, Jonah, Jeremiah, McCai, Maliah, and Nariah. The octuplets' grandmother claims all the names are Biblical.
Here's what Jennifer Moss, founder of babynames.com, has to say about the octuplets' baby names:
• Josiah, Noah, Jonah, Isaiah, and Jeremiah are Biblical names.
• McCai is a created name created with the Scottish prefix "Mc" meaning "Son of" -- she may have been trying to do a phonetic spelling of a variant of Michael.
• Maliah is also a created name, possibly based on the Biblical name Leah.
• I don't have any background on Nariah, either. Sounds like a created name to sound Biblical.

I think we should all have a say in what she gets to name the babies since we’ll be paying for them…
JS- Most people are not jealous, they are pissed off that this womans actions, plain and simple.
J.S. she is on welfare and according to the reports sees nothing wrong with it and has no intention of getting off!
I think she should have gone the old Italian route; Primo, Secundo…Octavia.
It’s rediculous. Welfare fraud as she is having IVF and receiving food stamps and welfare for three of the older children who are disabled. If she gave money for IVF she lied to the government about her funds which is illegal. She fails as a mother.
i think she had to right to try for any more kids and go to a fertility doctor when she already has six kids and we’re paying for it!!
Any woman that would do something so outragous has serious mental problems.Or is so ignorant and uneducated that she can’t be responsible for her actions. Child services should intervine and take those poor children away from her and find good homes for them. She is just a walking baby factory. DISGUSTING
I thought the baby pictures were of the octos, but see that some of them are the same picture flipped horizontally. Why weren’t actual photos of the octos used with their names?
Where did she get all that money for the invitro and lip plumping ?How does she have time let alone money to doctor these kids? She will be the death of her poor parents. This doctor should have to help her pay for all these kids.Child support like a man would.He is responsible as she is ill.

She gets the money for IVF from student loans, grants, food stamps, SSI for 3 kids ($557 per child per month) $168k in workers comp disability, $100k workers comp settlement…. Medical has picked up the tab for all 6 pregnancies & deliveries and her 2 months stay prior to giving birth and now the approx 2 month stay in the ICU for these 8. All while Grandma pays the housing costs!
Now these 8 also qualify for SSI due to prematurity!
She even admitted that the disability of some of the children is ADHD! That is an SSI disability. Are you kidding me! This woman should write a book about how to scam every system, instead of having octuplets. She seems to be an expert at the scams!!! What a sad and disturbing story!
Dang! If she had the 8 in Dec she could have gotten a fat income tax check this year, but she has to wait till next year. Blog that!

I saw her on Primetime last night. She seems genuine (“every time implanted 6 embryoes”, “no limp plumping”, it’s all her. She already has kids with disabilities and gets funding for them.
Personally, I think she should have named her kids using the alphabet in order of appearance (A-G) … She’d probably have an easier time keeping them straight…

I will be praying for these babies to get big & healthy- as far as her actions, i’m not anyone to condemn her. I am not perfect either- so who am I to tell her she’s wrong????? Let’s pray for these tiny babies to be ok.. there are SOO MANY things that can be wrong w/ them. Also, is this any worse that my money going so that bank CEO’s can get huge bonuses, jet rides, etc?
I think that is something she wanted to do the world may never know right now if she can fund for 14 kids. Who knows when she get her Masters she might be able to do so motherhood is a beautiful thing i think some of the world is JEALOUS because she did what she did “WORLD GET OVER IT” IF NOT TALK ABOUT ALL THE OTHER SINGLE MOTHERS WITH MANY KIDS THAT NO ONE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT.
