A scruffy Joaquin Phoenix told David Letterman on Wednesday's "Late Show" that he has given up acting to become a rapper.

Do you think he's serious...or is this just some kind of elaborate publicity stunt?

it’s hard to tell whether Joaquin Phoenix was faking it or not during that Letterman appearance, especially since he’s such a talented actor…
