A woman is accused of trying to poison jars of baby food at a South Florida supermarket.
Police arrested Shirley Ybarra, 50, after workers at a Publix store saw her mixing a black liquid with some of the items in her shopping cart. Surveillance video shows the woman wearing latex gloves and using an eyedropper to mix the black liquid.
Investigators say Ybarra tried to leave the store with the tainted items but was stopped by store workers at the door.
Ybarra told the employees that she was mixing food for her son.
Authorities say that there is no evidence that she placed contaminated items back on the shelf.
A judge has set her bond at $250,000, saying that Ybarra represented a "danger to the community."
