Caylee Conceived in One-Night Stand?

Murdered Florida girl Caylee Anthony's father might have been a co-worker her mother had a one-night stand with, according to police documents released this week.

Casey Anthony told childhood friend Melina Calbrese that she once slept with a man she worked with at Universal Studios named Josh and believed he was the father of her baby, reports Fox News. This is according to a transcript of an interview between Calbrese and Orange County Sheriff's Office Captain Yuri Melich.

Caylee's father, whose last name wasn't given, died in a car accident and never knew about Caylee, who was 2 when she disappeared last summer, Anthony has said.

The child's remains were found in December a half-mile from the Anthony family home. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide; Anthony is in jail on first-degree murder and other charges.

Calabrese told police she initially believed Caylee's father was Anthony's former fiance, Jessie Grund, until the couple broke up when the child was 9 months old, according to the transcript. That's when she says Anthony told her that "a really hot guy" named Josh from Georgia had fathered the baby. His last name wasn't given.

Calabrese said Anthony told her they'd had a one-night stand at a hotel near Universal Studios, where they both worked. Josh had a girlfriend he was planning to marry and already had a child.

Anthony told Calabrese the same story she relayed to her mother, Cindy Anthony: Caylee's father died in a car crash about the time the toddler turned 2.

Anthony tried to hide her pregnancy until about the seventh month, according to the police documents released Friday.

Interview transcripts also show that Anthony apparently took marijuana and ecstasy and had a rocky relationship with her mother, Cindy Anthony.

Earlier this week, the wooded lot where Caylee's remains were found was put up for sale.

The half-acre Orlando property went on the market at an asking price of $89,900, the real estate agent representing the land owner told WOFL FOX 35.

The plot will be difficult to sell because of the grim discovery made there in December by a utility worker of the little girl's skull, bones and belongings.

Anthony, who turned 23 on Thursday, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against her. Her trial is scheduled to begin in October.

Do you think Caylee was conceived in a one-night stand?

Casey had so many one night stands, so often. Like, every night she “went out”. So in just one month’s time, do the math! Besides all the one night stands,Lee has been cleared by the FBI DNA test-but George hasn’t been cleared yet. As sick as that fact sounds, it’s no sicker than the rest of the mounting evidence against Casey and her family.

Well of course she was the product of a one night stand. We really wouldn’t hold Casey to any other standard.George is the only normal one in the family so I doubt he would have to have sex with his narcissistic daughter.Maybe if he got desperate ,wouldn’t you be if you were married to queen of control Cindy.George is a good looking man and I’m sure he could find somebody besides his crazy daughter. It’s seems she was always in a bar getting drunk maybe she slept with a lot of men at the same time and really doesn’t know who he father is.This probably the only true thing that has come out of her mouth.

how the hell does a thin girl like that hide a pregnancy all the way to seven months??
I’m pretty thin and i started showing with my first around 4 months and i was the same age as her.
What the hell was she going to do if she could continue to hide it the whole way through? I think she would have probably thrown the baby in a dumpster. She’s just been trying to get rid of Caylee this whole time.

The question of the paternity doesn’t play a significant imediate roll in my mind at the moment. Yes it’s important that the bio-father knows but who killed her is priority #1.

Casey is a pathological liar so you can’t believe anything she says. She told so many stories about who fathered Caylee. This was just one of them. She also told other people Caylee’s father was Eric Baker and Jesus Ortiz. I doubt if Casey knows who the father is and if she does, if she is capable of telling the truth. Jesse Grund said she told him he was the father but he knew he wasn’t and had a paternity test as soon as Caylee was born. When the paternity test came back that he wasn’t the father, she told Jesse Grund it was some guy in the military that she had a one night stand with. Still Jesse Grund was willing to marry her and raise Caylee as his own. She instead preferred the partying lifestyle to family life and cheated on him. She told him she left him because he loved Caylee more than he loved her.

To see this picture with Caylee’s big beautiful eyes makes me want to cry.It would have been an honor to have been the father of this precious little girl.If the father is alive I’m sure he would have loved to have met this sweet angel.I was being sarcastic on the first post, but looking at her picture she truly looks like that of an angel.Casey is a horrid killer not to have seen how precious this little girl was. This story has really touched me and I sometimes get carried away. This only makes me want to stand up for her even more regardless of the personal attacks on me.

I agree Angela, George Anthony is a stand up guy. He loved his little granddaughter, enough to join her in heaven. He’s going through such an ordeal. His crazy wife and daughter, his murdered granddaughter. Poor man!

Think about This  March 22, 2009, 10:08 PM

One night stand, PLEASE. Not even worth entertaining. Casey doesn’t know who the B-dad is, because if she did she would have leeched money off him and would still be doing so, but only if she was sure. As in, LEGALLY PROVABLE. And DAMN that must have hurt her at the time. And DAMN she might have hit the motherload if the car crash guy truly was the father and insured.

Gail Cooke March 22, 2009, 11:50 PM

Seriously, who’s not the paternity that’s who killed her that’s the issue.

Amy March 23, 2009, 2:16 AM

Thanks Gail. I agree. It’s almost insulting to Caylee to be so gossipy about being the product of a one night stand etc. Let her rest in peace and just get her some justice!

Vita David March 23, 2009, 6:52 AM

Thank you both Gail and Amy this is not the National Enquirer, this is Mom Logic, let is keep to that, I think that is totally insulting to little Caylee, let us work on the real answer at hand…who killed her!!!!!

Sally March 23, 2009, 9:27 AM

I’d like to see MomLogic interview a psychologist to discuss the dynamics of the extended Anthony family. Although Cindy and George believed everything Casey said, Cindy’s mother Shirley Plesea and Cindy’s brother Rick Pleasea were grounded in reality. They were horrified that Casey was seven months pregnant and denying it and George and Cindy were buying it. They also strongly disapproved of Casey’s stealing and did not make excuses for her. They both said in August they knew Caylee was dead, Casey was responsible and George and Cindy were in denial. Casey’s grandmother Pleasea sounded healthy when she said to Casey, “I love you but I don’t like you.” They are heartbroken that Caylee is dead and Casey is a murderer but they are not denying it or defending her. It’s interesting that nobody from George or Cindy’s family attend any of Casey’s hearings or attended Caylee’s Memorial, which Cindy, Lee and George made more about Casey than Caylee.

Sally March 23, 2009, 10:08 AM

In the documents, Shirley Pleasea also sounded insightful when she said, “I wonder if Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee.” I could see Casey’s grandmother as a very strong witness for the prosecution because from the evidence it looks as if the prosecution strategy is to prove that Casey killed Caylee so she could move in with Tony and live a life without a child and Cindy could not get her hands on Caylee. Several people said Cindy talked about adopting Caylee and that made Casey furious.

Lisa March 23, 2009, 12:56 PM

Caylee had no voice, literally. She was almost 3 yrs. old, barely forming sentences yet. She wasn’t yet able to tell Grandma Cindy where She and Casey really were the day and night before. She wasn’t yet able to tell Cindy that there was no nanny. She wasn’t yet able to tell Cindy that her Mommy gave her medicine that made her go to sleep when they were out at parties every night. Caylee was so close to the point where she could give Cindy the answers. That scared Casey deeply. Caylee never stood a chance at life, for Casey was her Mother!

Sally March 23, 2009, 1:52 PM

Lisa, George told investigators that he asked Caylee about Zanny and Zachary, the little boy Casey claimed the nanny also watched, and Caylee didn’t know who they were. Maybe, Caylee couldn’t form sentences but she could answer simple questions. George asked about Zanny and Zachary because he had suspicions Casey didn’t have a job and a nanny since she was stealing money from them, her grandmother and Caylee’s piggy bank and claiming she and Caylee were staying all night with the nanny. That didn’t make sense to George. However, Cindy rationalizes away everything because Cindy didn’t want to face the truth about her own daughter. She still doesn’t. Even Shirley Plesea, Cindy’s own mother, told the investigators that. Cindy wants to believe Casey was a loving mother who would sacrifice herself for her child. When she caught Casey stealing from her repeatedly, Casey’s grandmother could see Casey was a selfish spoiled brat who didn’t care about anyone but herself. To this day, I bet Cindy is still in denial and deluding herself that Casey is innocent and kidnappers killed Caylee and it is all the prosecutors and media’s fault. I bet Cindy is fantasizing a Perry Mason moment when the “real killer” is revealed in the courtroom and Casey is set free and proven to be Mother of the Year. It’s sad that she can’t face reality so she can heal and mourn Caylee’s death and go on with her life.

This is about was she conceived by a one night stand, not if Casey killed her or not. These people who get on here and ask Casey to marry them please grow up this a blog for comments on a very serious matter this is not a joke, send a proposal in prison not on mom logic

Amanda March 24, 2009, 3:16 PM

I don’t think Cindy and George believe anything that Casey says. Its obvious that they didn’t beleive her inthe beginning. I think they wanted to stand behind her and you never think that your child could do the unimaginable. One the second 911 call Cindy made she says “I gave you a month to find Caylee” so obviously they don’t beleive what she says. And they tell her to tell the truth and that everthing that they have heard her say is a lie. They want to beleive that the daughter they gave birth to didn’t murder her own child. Its so quick to judge and blame them but would you want to believe your child would do something so horrible. Would you turn your backs on your own child? or would you try to beleive that there was something else going on? I think anyone is lying if they say that they would turn on their own flesh and blood, even if the evidence was mounting against them. And on the topic of this post. I think Casey has no clue who the father is. I think she was out slutting it up and then it was too late when she realized she was pregnant.

jamie March 28, 2009, 7:38 AM

We all know Casey was a $lut but why do people need to bring this stuff up-FRY the mother -but let Caylee Rest In Peace!!! I seriously believe(for the record) she has no idea who the daddy was-but reguardless it has nothing to do with anything!

Debbie April 27, 2009, 7:58 PM

I wanted to comment about the rumor that the little girls father past away, how easy would it be to have the mans body tested for dna? Also, my son’s father pasted away when he was two months shy of turning two years old. When a childs parent passes they will receive social security survival benefits, I’m sure if this is her father as money hungry as Casey is or was don’t you thing she would be receiving these benefits? Maybe the news should check this out . Thanks for reading. God Bless You Caylee!!! Rest in piece

Debbie April 27, 2009, 8:05 PM

if the little girls father died in a car accident they both would receive social security survivors benefits, maybe the attorneys should check that out. not that it matters who the father is on this earth, Caylee is with her father God in heaven! God Bless you little one, may peace be with you. Debbie W. in Ohio
