PiscesFriends, Family Gather for Richardson's Wake
Friends and family of actress Natasha Richardson streamed into the American Irish Historical Society in New York this afternoon for a private viewing.
Husband Liam Neeson, her sons, mother Vanessa Redgrave and sister Joely Richardson were among the mourners.
The service followed Thursday night's tribute on Broadway when theaters dimmed their lights for one minute to honor the Tony Award-winning actress. Also present were Richardson's sister, Joely, and actors Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ron Rifkin.
The 45-year-old Richardson died after falling on a ski slope in Quebec on Monday.
Funeral details have not yet been released. Instead of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the amfAR foundation for AIDS research. Richardson, whose father died of complications from the disease in 1991, was a longtime supporter of the charity and served on its board of trustees since 2006.

I’ve always thought highly of this woman—there was never the gossip and bad press about her that you hear about most celebrities. She seemed like a great mom, wife, sister and daughter. I cannot even fathom their loss—may God give you peace in the midst of your grief.
