** Editor's note: Trista Sutter has a strong relationship with momlogic. That being said, she was not paid by momlogic or our parent company for access to her baby shower or any other story featuring her or her family. We simply covered the event, just as we would any other celebrity story.

Momlogic takes you inside The Bachelorette's baby shower ... plus we're giving away Trista's shower goody bag and stroller.

trista sutter and goody bag

Former Bachelorette Trista Sutter has been in the news a lot the last couple of weeks sounding off about Bachelor Jason Mesnick. But now she's making headlines for much happier reasons: She's about to give birth to a baby girl, due in April.

Trista says she and Ryan's 19-month-son Max knows he's going to be a big brother. "He knows that my big belly is called 'baby' and he knows what babies are," she tells OK! "But, then again, last night he lifted up Ryan's shirt and goes 'baby' so I don't think he quite gets it yet!"

Trista says they have a baby name in mind, but they're keeping it under wraps until she arrives.

Trista, Ryan, and Max were recently joined by family and friends at the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail in Colorado to celebrate their impending arrival. Check out party pics below.

Momlogic is giving one mom the opportunity to win Trista's shower goody bag (valued at $600), which includes a set of personalized stationery with matching envelopes from Nesting Shoppe.  Readers will also get 10% off their entire order by entering MOMLOGIC into the coupon code at checkout.

One lucky mom will also win an award-winning City Mini Single stroller by Baby Jogger (valued at $230).

Enter to win Trista's shower goody bag and a City Mini Single stroller!

Trista is so funny - she wrote that I must have a perfectly elegant voice and gait. Trista - AGAIN - you just don’t get it. And you know exactly what we’re talking about…..you talked one way all the time and then when you were around a guy, any guy, you would cop a baby voice and say baby words in baby talk, and purposefully walk like a child, i’m guessing because you thought it made you look “cute”. It’s not like you have a speech impediment (which some do) that you can’t help and you sound like that all the time. You copped the voice on purpose and you know it so dont waste our time on that nonsense of “i’m sorry you dont like the way I talk”. again….PUH - LEASE!!! you miss the point a lot, probably because you are too concerned with twisting everything that really happened into a story that will put you in a great light, and you know what —- you just can’t sometimes. And to answer the other points you brought up - I met my husband in law school, I didn’t meet him by saying that “I’ve never climaxed he he he he, would they like to try and make it happen”. Deny it all you want, it was on the tv and they even made fun of the stupidity of that tactic on several other shows that my kids told me about.

Today has definitely been an interesting one. I figured I would chime in on some things that needed clarification or defending (and yes, I only defended the negative comments as that’s the definition of defense) while Max was taking a nap (which basically would assimilate to break time for those of you like Cathy with “real” jobs. I guess my job as a stay at home mom is even in question and on a site devoted to mothers.)
However, without wasting much more time, I just wanted to sign off of this lovely debate with more fuel for all the women who so clearly have life, especially mine, all figured out. Thank you for your opinions, whether positive or negative. Regardless of your opinion though, I will continue to be happy with my life and grateful for the blessings I have been granted, including meeting my husband, giving birth to a healthy baby boy, and becoming pregnant with a second precious child. If you want to use that to increase the rage of your fire, you clearly need an outlet, so have at it. Otherwise, all the best.

Some of you mother’s sound so catty sorry to say. Trista YOU don’t need to defend yourself. YOU are blessed and I think it’s wonderful you are giving two other families who might have never won anything in their lives a gift.

I wonder with the economy if it’s bringing out negativity in other’s who may not have a venting outlet except on blogs. Remember words said online or in life can hurt someone reading them.

Trista once again congrats to you ryan and max.

Dani I totally agree.

faith March 17, 2009, 10:31 PM

Not catty but really negative. I thought this was a blog for mom’s to share tips not attack someone because they are doing something you can’t do.
:)

Trista-

I just read an article about how hard your first pregnancy was and I too had a difficult time. I also suffered from pre-eclampsia, going through an emergency C-section at 38 weeks, and now I also have hypothyroidism that developed as a result of the pregnancy, and must take medication for the rest of my life. I prayed everyday that no matter what I would have to go through that my son Dylan Trevor would be healthy. And he is just that, born 1 year ago today as a matter of fact. Doesn’t it go by fast? Please don’t listen to negativity and just enjoy your family. I hope and pray that your little girl is healthy and that you have a uncomplicated delivery. May God bless you and your family.

I dont really like Trista either. I loved watching dwts. I saw one where season where Louis came back and said how disappointed he was to be the 1st one booted off the series, and he’s so happy because now he has a mature partner!!! I loved that. And he got a million times further the many other times he was on the show. I think her responses are too funny. I agree with Tina - Trista really doesn’t have much of a clue. Trista writes endlessly about things and when people, on lots of articles not just this one, when people comment on what she says, Trista’s usual come back is “that’s my business or that’s private”. LOL. So, let me get this straight Trista, you publishing several paragraphs in People magazine all about your urine is the stuff you think we are all really interested in. Goodness.

katie March 18, 2009, 9:27 AM

Trista kills me too!! Trista - you obviously have tons of people here who don’t like you very much. Trista keeps writing what she’s doing as if we care, I agree that it’s funny that she keeps saying she had come in to “clarify” things, as if she knows everything in the world. Trista really needs to get over herself, all these words that people have been using are all the same words that hopefully she’s picking up on, like modesty, humility, gratitude, gracious. Trista is just not getting it. There’s more to life then constantly talking about how much you love yourself Trista - if you want people to respect you - you may just have to do something for someone else someday. Trista is so obsessed with herself and her whipped spineless husband, it would be great to see what happens to her if she had to take care of things herself. She can’t, she is so obviously dependent. What Trista I think is also not getting, is that you have to be SOMEWHAT gracious and kind and all those other things, at the very least, when you sponged off networks for your wedding, got paid on top of that to be married, had everything paid for and still have a horrible snobby attitude. Other people have to work to pay for their wedding rings and stuff. Trista hides behind calling people jealous instead of offering them, even a kind word, instead of being snobby.

Stacie March 18, 2009, 9:38 AM

You guys are right. Trista is very conceited and likewise she thinks everybody that criticizes her is just jealous or “wants to be her” which couldn’t be farther away from the truth. I’m young and a size 2, but Trista would probably still say I’m “jealous” because she’s so full of herself it’s annoying. I have been given opportunities to do magazines and all kinds of things, but I would never do Maxim. Trista’s defense to that I already bet I know..would be something like “oh you just wish you could do that like I did”. Please! this woman is unanimously nothing but rude and greedy and obnoxious and ungrateful and everything else. Trista - if I were you , I’d say “I’m taking my greediness elsewhere”.

tina March 18, 2009, 9:45 AM

Did you guys see how Trista does that patronizing, condescending thing….She says that we apparently dont know anything about “life” as mothers, but she knows everything about everything, and she has said it and implied it. Trista - contrary to what you keep telling yourself - you’re not an expert on being a mother or marriage or anything except how to get $1 million. I’m sure you “carefully considered the offer”. We really want to thank you for making our day much funnier for sure. Momlogic - please turn your attention to real loving mothers, not money grubbing, publicity-craving people like Trista who only represent picking the spineless man whom she can control because any other man would have left her the way she is. unless they wanted the money and presents. MOST PEOPLE, like myself and everybody I know, CAN’T BE BOUGHT. At least we know Trista’s price, we knew it from the bachelor when she said “if it were a million dollars, it’d be different”.

cindy March 18, 2009, 9:51 AM

It’s not hard nor does it take long to read a momlogic article and post a comment, so as much as Trista wants to believe that we spend “all day on her”, she’s wrong. I really can’t stand this woman either. But I have a solution…..Trista - if you can honestly tell us that momlogic has never shelled out one cent for you or your parties or anything at all, then we will all apologize profusely to you and take back all the stuff we “thought we heard and read” as you say. I can say and I know Sandy, Cathy and Tina can all honestly say that we’ve n ever gotten one penny out of momlogic. If you can tell us the same, we will apologize several times if needed.

katie March 18, 2009, 10:01 AM

I hate that huge-open mouthed expression Trista always has. It looks like people around her are always wondering what’s wrong with her. And then other times, someone could just say hi or something simple and she has that huge open mouthed look and starts cracking up like the funniest thing in the world just happened. Yuck. I prefer my man who has a spine and is in no way the “yes dear” type who keeps quiet the way Ryan is, but it makes sense that that’s the type Trista wanted. She tries to make like she’s everyone else but she’s not, everyone else has to purchase their own things and dont get paid $1 million to get married, unless you’re some huge actor which she’s not.

keira March 18, 2009, 10:14 AM

I’m a mother and I’m pregnant. What exactly do I get out of momlogic for it? Or from Trista? If everyone is kissing up to Trista for the mere fact that she’s a mother and pregnant then surely I can SOMETHING. Trista -here’s your chance to prove, instead of just saying, that you care so much. Let’s see it.

aditya March 18, 2009, 10:32 AM

Trista’s responses are funny I agree. She’s very patronizing and condescending like she was on tv too. She always laughed at people like they were children or not good enough to be around her. Seems like she’s into the dictionary a lot, she is defining “covering” and “defending”. She always says that she “felt compelled to clarify”. LOL She makes a comment on who is intelligent - aka the one person who was kissing up to her. Trista definitely has a huge ego, she thinks she is the smartest person alive and that she needs to give vocabulary lessons and “clarify” everything for everyone. That is making a lot of people laugh hysterically Trista and we thank you for that. We also bow down to you being the smartest one on the planet. Keep on “clarifying”!

Cathy March 18, 2009, 10:38 AM

HAHA!! that was funny Aditya. Thank you guys for telling off this moocher, its about time. Trista’s just not used to any type of criticism which explains the way she handled it. pitiful. Hey Trista - go look up the words, we’ve all been throwing out at you, in your dictionary. Here are some of them again: HUMBLE, MODEST, GRACIOUS, GRATITUDE, CIVIL, KIND, POLITE, PLEASANT, SUFFICIENT.

maddy March 18, 2009, 10:43 AM

Trista , please have a wonderful safe birth of your little angel. Do not pay attention to these selfish, greedy, nasty witches on this comment board they are simply jealous and eaten up with envy . they are shallow angry and beyond rude. Hey witches”look in the mirror if you want to see ugly, and hateful and not humble”Don’t judge others till you have walked in their shoes.

Stacie March 18, 2009, 10:45 AM

No wait guys…. I think I get it now. Trista is right. The magazines, newspapers, tv shows, internet..etc. All that stuff is all wrong, (except for the stuff that said all good stuff about Trista). I get it now. the article on vote whoring, was all wrong! the details of her being bought for $1 million, all wrong! The shows about her marrying the whipped spineless jellyfish that she controls all the time, all wrong. It’s all wrong except for the GOLDEN TRUTH, and that golden truth ONLY comes out of Trista’s mouth! I know you’re thinking “But wait a sec, didn’t I hear all this contradictory hypocritical rude stuff come out of her mouth when she was on tv”. The answer to that is Yeah but remember all the bad stuff was all “edited and pieced together just to make her look bad”. All the stuff that made her look good was 100% real and true. Trista’s right - dont believe everything you read and see, take her word over all the reports, papers, magazines and tv stuff. **rolls eyes***

Cindy March 18, 2009, 10:51 AM

Thanks Maddy! You fell right into the ‘“jealous and envy” nonsense we were talking about. If you’re jealous then go be jealous, a lot of us just can’t stand Trista. You and Trista need to find a better excuse to hide behind besides constantly saying “oh she’s jealous”. Try addressing the points different people brought up instead of hiding behind the word jealousy all the time. That works when you’re a teenager, not now dear. I stand by my last message. If trista tells us that she never received one cent from Momlogic, we will profusely apologize to her.

sarah March 18, 2009, 10:56 AM

thanks maddy - trista will make sure you’re on her payroll for that. The difference between you maddy and trista - and the rest of the people on here is that we bring up specific points, events, issues etc. Trista and her followers like maddy just hide behind blanket statements like “you’re just jealous”. Um…..if you’re supposedly an adult then you can do better then that. Try addressing one of the points any of these ladies made besides copping out behind a blanket statement.

Candace March 18, 2009, 10:58 AM
