After Kelly Clarkson's appearance on "American Idol," rumors swirled that she is pregnant. Leave the girl alone!
It's happened to Paris, Lindsay, Eva and well, every other female celeb, and now it's Kelly Clarkson's turn. Starlets are seen with even the teeniest bit of a belly, which btw, most normal women have, and the media starts buzzing that they're pregnant.
Last night, "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson performed on the show in a form fitting black mini-dress and immediately rumors started flying that Kelly was sportin' a baby bump. This, after Kelly recently said she has "no interest in having children."
Can you imagine being that so closely under a microscope that even the slightest change in appearance causes a global outrage? What an enormous toll it must take on one's self-esteem. It's hard enough hearing comments from friends and family about our changing appearances -- add media and reader scrutiny and it's enough to never want to leave your house again.
Leave the girl alone!

you say that the public’s scrutiny would be really bad for one’s self-esteem which is true, but good thing kelly doesn’t let that stuff get to her!! she’s smart (and not narcissistic!) so she stays away from the tabloids and all that junk and continues to do what makes her happy and healthy, and is comfortable with herself. she is such a great role model :)

Oh PUHLEEZE…Kelly ought to just be glad that ANYONE is looking at her after that last crap album she put out. No publicity is bad publicity when you are a “star”.
she is an awesome singer and she is beautiful. she is a naturally curvy girl besides she is part Greek.
I would just like to say that I agree with what you are saying but I saw her on saturday night live and she clearly looked pregenant.
I don’t care if she looks pregnant (or if she is for that matter)…weighs 400 lbs or is as skinny as a rail…that girl has a set of pipes and she sure knows how to use them. She is amazing and has a right to live a life that people aren’t making their own business!! Just keep making awesome albums Kelly!!! You’re the best!!
She doesn’t look preggers there but she sure do like it on SNL, May 2nd. If she isn’t then her stylist played a horrible joke on her.

Kelly is a full-figured girl. She naturally carries a little more tissue around the abdomen and thighs. You can also see that she’s a little round in the upper arms. However, she’s a beautiful young woman. I’d be happy to be her size!
