A touching, heartbreaking funeral for a fish -- that is, if the little girl's parents would stop laughing.
It's a sad fact: Pet fish don't have a long shelf live. But you don't have to tell this adorable girl who eulogizes her fish Lucky as his lifeless body floats in the toilet bowl. It's not the first time she's presided at such a sad event -- she also flushed Lucky's friend Marlond the week before.

OMG!!! This girl is ADORABLE! And her parents, Lord knows they tried to keep a straight face. I don’t think I could have done any better. The things we will do for our kids. Thanks for sharing this!

If people would do a miniscule amount of research to find out how to properly care for fish, like you would any other pet, there might be fewer fishy toilet bowl funerals being held. Goldfish do not belong in a bowl, if you want them to live. The ONLY fish it is okay to keep in a bowl is a Betta, and even they are happier in a 10 gallon or larger tank with filtration. Goldfish need at least a 20 gallon tank with very good filtration and regular water changes. That would be 2 goldfish, by the way, not 20. So, aside from the “humor” of this video, it’s just annoying because it just shows how stupid and careless the general population is when it comes to fish. The fish suffocated in it’s own urine. That’s not funny, it’s sad. If this were video of a person burying their dog they’d had for a week and let die in it’s own excrement, everyone would be calling the SPCA, not laughing at it and forwarding it.

This is so cute, that little girl is an absolute doll. Somebody needs to tell the Grim Reaper of Fish Police that wrote the comment above this one that its a damn fish, lighten up. If we were all as serious about life as you are of fish, the world would look alot darker…… its hard to see light when you’ve got your head three feet up a fish butt.

Fishkeeping Mom may have a point, but it quite possible that the parents changed the water frequently and that both Lucky and Morlond died of extreme old age. There is no point jumping to conclusions. What was remarkable was this little girl’s poise and vocabulary. Thanks for sharing it.
