Mom of Three Run Over and Killed

Cleveland.com: Stacy DiJulius, co-owner and artistic director of the successful John Robert's Spa in Ohio, was run over and killed during a quarrel outside a Summit County bar Saturday night. She was a married mother of three sons -- ages 16, 11 and 6.
Minutes later, the driver of the Jeep that ran her over -- Erich Schultz, 38, of Glenwillow -- shot himself in the head. He died about 2:30 p.m. Sunday at MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was flown for treatment, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Summit County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Cottle said witnesses saw DiJulius, 39, and Schultz arguing after both had been drinking at Panini's Bar & Grill on Ohio 82. The pair left the bar and Schultz tried to drive off alone in his Jeep, Cottle said. DiJulius kept trying to get into the moving vehicle and fell.
Schultz then accidentally ran over DiJulius, Cottle said.
Seeing the extent of her injuries, Schultz walked back to his vehicle, pulled out a small handgun and shot himself in the head as paramedics arrived to tend to DiJulius.
DiJulius died shortly after at Sagamore Hills Medical Center, according to the Summit County medical examiner's office.
Initial reports given to sheriff's deputies indicated DiJulius was shot, Cottle said. Further investigation revealed that was not true.
DiJulius and Schultz were dating. She was separated from John Roberts, co-owner of the spas.
Eric Hammond, director of operations for John Robert's, would not say Sunday if the DiJuliuses -- who have three sons, ages 16, 11 and 6 -- were divorcing. Hammond said Stacy DiJulius was at the bar with a group of friends Saturday and that Schultz "was not her boyfriend."
"I never met the guy, but he was a friend of hers for the past year or so," Hammond said.
