You're the BEST Mom a Nanny Could Ask For!

Mary Poppins: It has taken me years, but I have finally found a mom I can truly say I love. When I first met you, you were so nice and genuine. My first day, you asked me to write down a list of foods I liked so you could  pick them up at the store since I would be spending a few mealtimes at your house. Of course, what you had was wonderful and I would never impose on you in that way, but the fact you asked shocked me in the best possible way.

When your kids were sick with strep throat, you told me not to come to the house. You told me you wanted to be the one to take care of them because they were so miserable, but not to worry, I would still be paid for the day. Again, are you a real person? You have the best manners of any parent I have met. If you are going to be even 10 minutes late you call me to let me know and then pay me for the full hour because you do not want me to feel inconvenienced.

Your kids are awesome too. They play nicely together, they listen to me, and while they act out occasionally, they always calm down. I cannot believe I have finally found a family whose children and parents are great. Going to work is a pleasure, I love spending time with your children and even though you have made it clear it is not part of my job description, I genuinely want to help you out around the house because you are just so nice.

I have nothing to complain about, nothing to criticize; in fact I only have good things to say about you and your family every single time. Let's see how long it lasts ...
