Nicole Richie opens up about motherhood, how she handles the paparazzi and her latest projects.
Nicole Richie, currently expecting her second child, opened up to Glamour magazine about what it's like to be a full time mom: "I feel changed in the sense that I'm older and any woman who's a mother obviously experiences change," says Nicole, adding, that while she is "not perfect," she is loving "every minute of it."
But how does the starlet handle the constant harassment of the paparazzi, and more importantly how does her little girl Harlow, age 16 months, deal with it? "I was with some friends and I saw a few photographers. I have a rule that we don't talk about that stuff in front of Harlow, so we just kept singing songs, which is why my mouth is open. But I was trying to distract her from seeing anyone." Though the journey of motherhood has certainly changed her, it hasn't kept her from launching a line of jewelry, starring on a new television show, writing a book and working on a new album. "I'm a Virgo, so I'm very good at scheduling. I do a lot of my work at night and between [Harlow's] naps," she shares. "I think you just take one day at a time."
Amen to that.
