The Baby Snuggie?!

In case you've missed out on the amusement of the Snuggie, we now introduce you to the Baby Snuggie!

Baby Snuggie

Thanks to its brilliant infomercial, the Snuggie has become a national obsession. They've been given as gag gifts, become the dress code for the "Snuggie Pub Crawl" -- and some people, surprisingly enough, claim to really dig them!

Now, it appears there's a new member of the Snuggie family -- the baby Snuggie! Actually, it's called the Peekaru, which we're assuming is a derivative of peekaboo, and it's a baby carrier-slash-vest. Just as the Snuggie has holes in the blanket for your hands, this one's got a hole for you little one's noggin! This $80 contraption looks like Baby Bjorn meets Snuggie meets the most ridiculous fleece ever.

Would you wear this? (Please say no ...)

all I can think is what happens when there is the inevitable messy diaper?? access to the bay does not look simple in the pic… quite a mess for both baby and mom…

Since I don’t have a baby, NO I would not wear one. I wonder when people with small dogs are going to catch on to this concept.

I mean my lil guy would never stay still enough for something like that though I would wear it if he did! beats having to have him in a coat, carrier, with a blanket around him in the winter! I could careless how dumb I look… when I walk off the lbs I would be looking hott not dumb! but either way i dont have one prolly never will im a bargin shopper and 80 bucks wayy too much!

Dude, I would totally wear that thing (if my daughter put up with it) because as a perpetual cold person, I try at all times to maximize her heat output. I see that thing and I think, “Finally, an efficient way to steal her warmth.”

I have one, and actually, I’ve never worn it the way it is in that picture. IMO, it’s more comfortable for mom and baby with the baby’s head poked all the way through, and not forward-facing. I use mine in the spring and fall when it’s too hot for me to wear a jacket. It’s not clear in the photo, but it goes over a baby carrier. I find it really useful for walks; my baby stays nice and warm, and I don’t have to worry about losing any little mittens, coats, etc. People who see us wearing ours always say how cute and cozy it is :D

They are actually really great :) That pic is not the best, most people stick the babies head all the way through! They are good for keeping the baby warm in the carrier.

I have one and LOVE it! It is actually really cute when your babies head is all the way through the hole! I get compliments on mine ALL THE TIME.
