Today is National Napping Day

Too bad we can't partake ...

It was so hard to get out of bed this morning because of Daylight Savings Time. YAWN! But there IS some good news ... today, March 9, is National Napping Day! (Um, what mom has time to NAP?)
If we COULD somehow find the time, there are tons of health benefits to napping, like improvements in mood, energy and alertness.
Yes, we'd love to be in a better mood, have more energy, and be more alert ... all of the above. But we can't spare time to pee, much less to catch some Zs.
When's the last time you had a nap?
It’s very interesting that in today’s science news, there’s a study that says that daytime sleepiness is correlated with increased risk of heart disease.
I’m all for it! If the whole world napped just imagine the positive repercussions…
Interesting info! Enjoyable and fun reading. I’ve just got a small opinion to give about shirts.

My daughters are in school and I work from home. I make a point to have a nap every day because it feels like my day starts all over again after I pick the kids up from school. Spring soccer season has started; 2 kids, 2 days of practice. My 5th grader has MUCH more homework after moving to private school.
I would be a Mrs. McGrumpy by early evening without a short nap. Napping for only 20-40 minutes is best. If I’ve slept long enough to dream, I wake up slightly groggy instead of refreshed.
My family supports my (almost) daily nap ;)
