Baby Seat Tossed at Octomom's Van

sign up for the momlogic newsletter Tweet This An apparent vandal threw a baby's car seat through the rear window of octuplet mom Nadya Suleman's minivan, La Habra, Calif., police say they were told by nannies at Suleman's house on Wednesday.

Officers have no suspects. Lt. Fred Wiste tells the Associated Press that a night nanny heard a noise, looked out a window and saw a cargo van speeding away around 3 a.m.

On Wednesday afternoon, Suleman was headed home with yet another addition to her family bundled up in blankets in the backseat of her car. Josiah Angel Suleman, who at 4 lbs., 8 oz., was deemed healthy and heavy enough to be released from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, became the seventh of Suleman's eight infants to get the green light to join his 12 brothers and sisters at the family's home in La Habra.

"Each day that goes by it gets a little easier," Suleman tells PEOPLE. "I'm really getting to know each of my nannies and we're all really beginning to work together as a team."

Given the appalling and constant negative press surrounding this woman (not going to comment either way on her at all) it is hardly surprising that there’s been an attack by a loon.

Maybe Mom Logic, which can be brilliant, and at the same time can be appallingly bad, will think twice before taking part in a witch hunt. These constant stories about this woman are a disgrace.

While I don’t agree with vandalism, that cow deserves everything she gets.

Agree with redmum…Leave octomom alone! Now the looneys are after her, good thing no one was hurt. Negative press, and crazies are going to hurt these children before the mom will. People are cruel, and evil.

This person shouldn’t be allowed to keep her children…I agree that crazies are bad…and should be kept at bay…but somebody has to do something about that incompetant excuse for a mother. She is the one that is keeping herself in the spotlight and encouraging inappropriate behaviours. I keep wondering why social services hasn’t stepped in.

Look at what all of the negativity, and hate is doing to this family. There is no excuse for violence, and Nadya, and her children do not deserve this. People need to learn to have a little more compassion for those in a tough situation.

I dont agree with teh vandalism, its just plain mean and uncalled for. But what was she expecting? She is the one putting herself out there. She’s the one doing interviews and posing for magazines. Obviously not everyone is going to be happy with you. The best thing she can do is stay out of the publics eye and we’ll eventually forget all about her and leave her alone.
but no. she wants this.

Why is this news?

wait, she has night nannies! what the ****! where did she get the money to afford nannies?? nevermind, i can only imagine where she’s getting an “income” from (if that’s what you call it- using your children to gain fame and money)….raising two babies at once has been a challenge- i can’t imagine 8! i agree, it’s not nice to stalk, harrass, or vandalize but it’s also not nice to use your preemie babies to make a buck….my twins were preemie and it made it even that much more difficult…my twins were spontaneous so I can’t imagine a “mother” purposely risking becoming impregnated with multiple babies- knowing the risks involved and the chance that they will be born premature…..i have no sympathy for the “mother” but my heart and prayers go out to those 8 TINY babies and the unfair, hard road they have ahead of them….God Bless
