"Project Runway" Maternity Line

Project Runway winner Christian Siriano's maternity line FIERCE MAMAS for Moody Mamas just launched. It's PRICEY, but cuuuuute!

Typically, the designs of Christian Siriano, the 22-year-old winner of "Project Runway," are super haute couture. But realizing preggy mommies also want to be hip and stylish, he designed his brand new line appropriately called FIERCE MAMAS for Moody Mamas, which includes everything from extra long jersey Ts to dresses for day and evening.

The pink ruffle dress is a particular favorite around here -- the bold color and feminine details are just, well, fierce! (If only we had money to burn ...) Items range from $50 - $300. Gulp. WAY too pricey for most of us, especially in this recession. But if you have the cash, is it worth it, considering you can wear it after baby comes, too? You be the judge.

Some of these things are supercute, but who can afford to spend $200 on a maternity dress? $200 is enough to buy a crib.

Abbi, your comment doesn’t even make sense! What are you talking about?!? Buying a size or 2 up doesn’t work because regular clothes are not meant to accomodate a PREGNANT belly. On another note, these clothes are super cute but I also would not spend that much money on something I would only wear for 9 months. Unless I had a ton of money, than I wouldn’t really care!

ExpecTees Maternity is proud to announce new pricing on all of our fashionable t-shirts. Simply because times are tough, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice fashion or fun during your pregnancy.
Our short-sleeve t-shirts are now $30 and our long-sleeve t-shirts are $36. So, treat yourself, or someone you know, to a quality, fun and affordable t-shirt that will last all nine months and beyond.

Abbi is a bitter “fattie” (her words not mine) with too much time on her hands :)

Great info! Enjoyable to read. There’s a single thing to offer about funny t-shirts.
