Diane Mizota: To anyone who has been watching the show, LT's elimination from "Dancing with the Stars" comes as no surprise. It was only a matter of time. As one of the happiest celebrities to go home, his exit could be summed up with one simple phrase: "I'd rather be golfing."

Chuck made a big move in the scores this week with his spicy samba garnering a 27 and tying Gilles for 2nd. It was his best dance of the season, but let's just be honest here, people don't really vote for Chuck. They vote for Julianne. She's a tremendously gifted dancer, a charming, sweet presence on the show, and she's smoking hot. I may sound gay for Julianne, but Chuck? I'm just not that into him.

There was also a sixties-inspired group dance, where each star got a mini solo. LT did some football moves, Melissa channeled her inner cheerleader, Shawn tumbled, and Ty rode his partner like a bull. Wait a minute, did you say "rode his partner like a bull"? Yes, I did. And I laughed out loud when I saw it, too. Such is the charm of Ty Murray. He's got a sly, dry sense of humor and is seriously one likable dude. Score, Jewel!

And bravo to the results shows this season! We all love watching the stars awkwardly perform new routines and eventually grow as dancers, but I'm so glad they've incorporated more professional dancing this season. From burlesque to ballroom to hip-hop to Broadway, we have been treated to breathtaking performances week after week. I'm completely onboard with the addition of the professional dancer competition, where the winner gets to partner a star next season. Brilliant. This is waaaay better than the dance-off. Bravo DWTS!
