Levi and Bristol Slept Together in Palin's House

sign up for the momlogic newsletter Tweet This

In an interview that airs Monday on "The Tyra Banks Show," Levi Johnston admits he and Bristol Palin were allowed to share a room at Sarah Palin's Alaskan home -- even though she knew they were having sex.

Johnston, 19 and Palin, 18, called off their engagement in March. They welcomed son Tripp Easton Mitchell on Dec. 27.

“I think one of the greatest things about the Republican Party is the understanding, we don’t point fingers and we have class. Lets keep in mind here, how old is she, 17? I don’t care what anybody says, this person is still a young person and okay she’s got a big situation on her hands but for anyone to sit there and make fun of her or judge her is just cruel and wrong.”

Tyra, although nice looking, must be having a drop in ratings. Why else would she do this?

To keep any story about the kids afloat is next to passing on rumors.

Gossip is always a personal confession either of malice or imbecility. - Josiah Gilbert Holland

Remember, before you repeat a story, ask yourself: Is it true? Is it fair? Is it necessary? If not, do not repeat it. Keep quiet. Great minds discuss ideas - Average minds discuss events - Shallow minds discuss people - Which are you? Ann Landers

This is yellow journalism at its worst. I had thought Tyra Banks was a reputable person, but I see I was wrong. This kind or sleazy programming is in poor taste to say the least. Notice that very little has been said about Joe Biden’s daughter by the conservative blogs and newscasters, but the left goes after the Palin children at every opportunity.

Talk about burning bridges. #1) What kind of gentleman would go on national TV and talk about his most intimate personal relationship? #2) What kind of a “jounalist” would ask a barely beyond teenager those kind of questions?

#1) Money and fame (short lived)
#2) Ratings -or- on Carville’s contact list

Who produces this scatology anyway?
TV needs a bailout, please pass the stimulus.

There is no story here, guess he needed the money for child support. Move on.

what a scumbag

I’ve lost all respect for Tyra Banks after this. What she was asking him to discuss was out of line and very disrespectful to that young woman. Levi is no better for even allowing that kind of discussion. Slimeballs. The lot of them. Teens will be teens. Parents can’t always control them. Just leave them alone already!

I care.

Palin wants to sweep this under the rug because its a painful reminder that abstinence only education doesn’t work and highlights that the only thing that right wing republicans (even one’s who are good caring parents like Palin) are consistent in is thier hippocritical assessment of other people’s values. I don’t think anyone doubts that Bristol did the right thing by keeping this baby. Could you imainge the screeching that would have come from Palin about strong family American values if Chelsea Clinton had a baby at 17? This proves that Palin is just like everyone else; they choose the set of values that fits them and casts judgement on anyone who doesn’t meet these expectations. Dispicable

Get over yourself Kelly!!!! This kinda stuff is not news, it is sleeze. What’s going on at your house?? Unless you are there 24/7 you don’t know and there are other places to do this and the kids will. Leave the kids out of the political scene. They didn’t ask to be put in the spotlight they were born in it. Spend your time volunteering or doing something to help someone!!!

I agree, the so called “Republican Party with Class that does not pass judgement” PLEASE!! All they do is pass judgement and since when does judging people mean you have class? Joe Biden’s daughter is not pregnant nor does she have a child at 17, not a good role model for our children. Come on people, you have no class and everytime I turn on the T.V. all I see is the Republican Party passing judgement watch FOX News!!!

Funny how people on here are quick to say that Tyra was wrong for having this topic on her show…yet, they all saw the title of this article and kept reading…even posted comments…hmmmm, just my observation.

Funny how the conservatives call foul when the discussion does not suit them. Palin was very adamant about “abstinence only” while allowing an 18-year-old boy to sleep in her house. This is pure hypocrisy and I personally love seeing it exposed and shown for what it actually is. This country has spent billions on abstinence only education while ignoring the reality of the world and teenage hormones. In the meantime STDs are spreading and kids are getting pregnant. Bring it on and expose this woman for who she is.
