A middle-aged mom mimics her daughter's look ... with plastic surgery.
Want to almost guarantee a competitive, yet totally dysfunctional relationship with your daughter? When she grows older go under the knife to look just like her. That's what Janet Cunliffe did -- spending almost $20,000 to model herself after her 22-year-old daughter, Jane.
The transformation of Janet, 50, isn't subtle either, she used to be a Brit size 14 (U.S. size 12) and a redhead. After a boob job, nose job, lots of Lipo -- and what looks like plenty of peroxide -- Janet realized her dream of being a doppelganger her own offspring.
Janet, speaking with the Daily Mail, explains her motives, "It might sound 'barmy' that I had cosmetic surgery to look like my daughter, but she's gorgeous. Who wouldn't want to look like her?" Janet, here in the States we'd swap "barmy" with "creepy."
Need any more proof this relationship is whack? Jane tells the Daily Mail, her mom is "the sister I always wanted and never had."
