In what could be one of the biggest divorce settlements in history, Robyn Gibson, Mel Gibson's wife of 28 years, is legally entitled to half of everything he earned during their marriage. That's nearly $500 million. Wow.

Robyn, who had no prenuptial agreement in place, could set herself up to be the most paid out ex in Hollywood history. Other wives who laughed all the way to the bank include, Marcia Murphy, who got over $150 mil from her ex, Neil Diamond. NBA legend Michael Jordan forked over $168 million to his ex Juanita. Women aren't exempt either, as Madonna recently handed over $76 million of her cash to ex-husband Guy Ritchie. But Rupert Murdoch takes the cake -- he had to give his ex Anna Torv $1.7 billion in assets and $110 million to finalize his split. He married one of his employees 17 days later.
