PiscesToddler Found Dead in a New Jersey River
Associated Press: The body of a 3-year-old New Jersey girl was found in the Passaic River, just hours after her uncle left with her and told family members "to watch the 6 o'clock news tonight".
But authorities were still searching Saturday afternoon for 21-year-old Juan Mendez, whose abandoned car was found with its doors open on the Gregory Avenue Bridge, which spans the river.
Mendez had been living with family members in Passaic, but it wasn't immediately clear if he and the girl lived in the same residence.
White said Rievas was found about 1,000 feet from the bridge on the Passaic side of the river.
He said Mendez had taken the girl from her home at about 6 a.m., telling relatives he wanted to get something to eat.

It makes me wonder if he showed signs of something being off with him it had to have been little things he’s done before or a weird vibe. he’s sick it disgusts me how people can hurt an innocent child our laws on crimes against children should be extremely harsh

What a beautiful little girl! Yes, something is definitely missing in this story. I tried to read the link and it also stated that the guy told the family that he was going to get something to eat when he took her. That doesn’t make any kind of sense.
This is so sick. How can anyone have the guts to do something like this? I agree with the fact that the laws on crimes against children should be harsher. This damn world we live in is so wrong now days. I agree there is something in the story that is missing, why would they (the family)allow the man to take a little girl to get something to eat for himself? What kind of a family is this? something is fishy…
