South Tampa News & Tribune: A 3-year-old boy was found roaming a parking lot naked after his mother left him unattended for more than an hour while she went to exercise, police say.

Officers arrested Sara Marie Swanson, 25, a nurse at Tampa General Hospital, on a child neglect charge. She was released on $2,000 bail.

The incident occurred Sunday afternoon at 5055 S. Dale Mabry Highway. Officers responding to a call spotted the boy and determined where he lived. They "found the door standing open, but nobody was inside the home," an arrest report states. "The living conditions within this apartment were poor, with soiled clothing and trash on the floors of every room."

The child was placed into protective custody, police say.

Swanson is a clinical nurse at Tampa General Hospital, hospital spokesman John Dunn said.

Um… yeah, you can’t afford to clean up or pay for babysitting but you can go out and work out? Yes, because the next guy in line to date ya won’t mind you got your child taken away… just as long as you look good, right?

This is so disturbing to me-I think I’m just in shock that this is the second time this week that I’ve heard a story like this, although thankfully the child in this case didn’t die. What is with these NURSES who are endangering their children????? Is is opposite day/week or something???

I live a few blocks south of that address and Dale Mabry is one of if not THE busiest street in Tampa…what a f*cktard. Why do people have kids when they don’t want to or can’t take care of them?

I took 1 st loans when I was 25 and that aided my business very much. However, I require the credit loan once again.
