The leader of the free world recently mused about what will happen when boys start noticing his girls. And his thoughts were not warm and fuzzy.

Ronda Kaysen: If you think Barack Obama is coming down hard on the banking industry, just wait until you see what he does to the guy who asks Malia out on her first date.

"Dating I think will be an issue because I have men with guns surrounding them at all times," he told Newsweek, "which I'm perfectly happy with, but they may feel differently about it."

For now, the girls seem to just be ecstatic to be in the White House. After all, they're a little young (Malia is 10 and Sasha is 7) to be thinking much about boys.

"The nice thing is that, partly because of temperament, partly because of Michelle [Obama]'s unbelievable parenting skills, I've just got some happy, normal kids," he said, adding that he has dinner with his daughters every night and puts them to bed. "And all that stuff that's going on around them, they just kind of miss. We have not seen any effects, any fishbowl effects, yet on them."

I wonder what prom night will be like at the Obama household.
