A German student who auctioned her virginity online may have to hand over half of her $13,287.00 payday to the taxman. It seems that prostitution is legal in Germany and hookers are taxed at 50 percent of their earnings.

I have heard the Freudian thing about others being in the proverbial bed with us, but the taxman? I never heard that one before.

Can't a girl earn an honest living anymore? Next time one auctions off their chastity, they must add the fine print: "The highest bidder must pay for condoms and all applicable taxes."

Was the sex good?

I don't know whether the Italian businessman who won the auction enjoyed it, but I certainly know "the taxman cometh."
