Candy Spelling Skips Granddaughter's B-Day

The much-publicized family feud continues.

According to Us Weekly, Tori Spelling invited her estranged mother Candy to daughter Stella's first birthday party this past Saturday in Encino, California. But even though she RSVPed yes, she never showed up.

A source tells Us, "Candy did RSVP to the event but decided not to attend when she found out there would be cameras there. She wanted it to be an entirely private meeting." But another source says Candy "knew there would be cameras and had her people call a week before to have the photo releases sent over."

"She waited until one hour before the event to notify Tori, by e-mail, that she wasn't attending," adds the source. "Tori was busy preparing and didn't get the e-mail until after the party. She was waiting for her mom the whole time."

Why we she want to be on the reality show? They are so mean to her.

I wouldn’t invite my mother to a birthday party for my child just to boost ratings for my “reality” show.

If Candy thought that there WOULDN’T be cameras, she’s seriously delusional! The fact that there would be cameras should not have surprised her. Lame to say she’s coming and then wait to send an E-MAIL until she knew Tori would be too busy to check it.
