Infant Dies as Someone Rolls Onto Her While Sleeping

Fox News: Fort Wayne police are investigating the death of a 4-month-old girl who apparently died when someone rolled over onto her as they were sleeping.
Investigators believe Nygria Holley's death was accidental.
Fort Wayne Police Officer John Chambers said Holley was pronounced dead at a Fort Wayne hospital Friday morning after police received a call about an unresponsive infant.
Someone had been in bed with the infant and apparently rolled onto her as they slept, police said. Officers haven't released details on who was sleeping with the infant.

Briellis - that’s exactly why co-sleeping has a bad name. Some parents don’t take enough precautions and horrible accidents like this happen - including letting siblings, grandparents, etc sleep with the baby. It’s unfortunate, but that’s why co-sleeping is not recommended… which makes it harder for those who have done their research and take all the precautions they can!
