Wow ... thirst-quenching, table-flipping, baby-throwing ... all in one week!

Diane Mizota: What a great week for Outrageous Mom behavior! Here's the recap:

Over on the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," at her end-of-season dinner party, Teresa went completely hair-trigger postal on Danielle! Sure, Danielle was stirring the pot by implying Teresa was dense, but Teresa's vino-fueled, table-flipping meltdown proved that she was smart enough to know how to get the focus entirely back on her. Fuggedaboutit!

And speaking of liquid refreshment, a delicious clip of Kate Gosselin surfaced on the web this week. When I first saw this, I thought, c'mon, let's give this poor woman a break. If she gives one kid a drink of water, she's got to give all 8 a drink, cut her some slack! Then I watched it. She partakes of the water herself (twice), completely ignoring her thirsty child. Hmmm. Perhaps a larger metaphor for the Gosselin parenting style?

And finally, Lauren Conrad stopped by Conan to regale him with stories of crazy mom fans of "The Hills." The best fan of all time was the mom who threw her 2-year-old at Conrad, ricocheting "it" off her shoulder.

First of all LC, my son is not an "it," moms do love "The Hills," and I can't believe you told Conan about me.
