An Anti-Aging Pillow? Oh Yeah!

Forget anti-wrinkle cream: This pillow fights acne and wrinkles while you're asleep. Don't believe us?

The Aloe Dream Mate Pillow seems too good to be true: While you are getting your zzz's, your skin is moisturized all night long by the pillow cover, which is infused with Aloe Vera. The lining of the pillow regulates the temperature of the skin, allowing you to achieve longer periods of deep sleep. It also whisks away excess moisture, creating a fresh, dry sleep environment that repels allergens and common bacteria. The pillow's foam inside is made with a latex core and granules that have a molding support, regulating air circulation and thereby fighting wrinkles.

The pillows cost between $77.50 and $107.50 -- would you buy it?

whenever I see stuff like this (like the $78 toddler bathing suit I saw in a certain baby magazine last month) I always think to myself, WTF? Who has the money for this kindof ridiculous indulgent spending these days? I certainly do not. So no, I wouldn’t buy an over priced pillow that makes a bunch of claims it can’t possibly live up to. Replace your pillow every year or so, wash it in hot water once in a while and wash your pillow case at least once a week. Use a high thread count pillow case or silk or satin, which can be bought on the cheap from TJM or other stores like that. There. :-)

If it really worked then yes! Oh, and it has to be comfortable too :) Then again, if I just established a good skin routine I wouldn’t need this pillow!

Thanks so much for writing about the Aloe Vera pillow! The latex core and wool lining of this pillow also ensure your pillow won’t be packed with dust mites (and their waste) - which is good for beauty and health! Both latex and wool are antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. If you have any questions, would love the opportunity to respond! Julia Tweet Me @JuliaRosien

sleeping on a silk pillow case is cheaper and has the same effect. SNORE. another boring topic.
