Idaho Babysitter Accused of Having Sex With 14-Year-Old

Fox News: An Idaho woman face charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007.
KXLY-TV reported Tuesday that 28-year-old Summer Nelson, of Post Falls, was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child.
Court records say Nelson was a friend of the boy's mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy's mother grew suspicious of Nelson's attention Nelson toward the boy.
Investigators say Nelson told the boy's siblings that she was in love with their brother. Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters.
Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known whether she had a lawyer.

At fourteen you should be old enough to watch yourself why on earth is he being babysat? I think the mom was asking for trouble having her friend who looks fourteen herself babysit a hormonal teenager.

It’s ridiculous to pretend that not every 14 year old is doing the same thing. They are. Mothers are such idiots, not all but a a lot. I used to work at Verizon and the mothers would swear up and down that her “little boy” (one was a 15 YO captain of football team) had “no idea” how to subscribe to the 5 digit ringtones that they advertise on MTV every commercial break. Yeah, GIVE me a break, you moron! LOLOLOL!!!!!

Suzanna Nash. Would you have made that remark if the victim in this case was a 14-year-old girl and the abuser was a 28 year-old man? No I very much doubt you would have done as you would’n’t want to by branded a pedo sympathizer now would you? Is it any wonder boys as young as 10-year-old are getting raped by women recently because people like you are responsible for condoning this kind of behaviour by women. Boy… If I only knew it, I would have pestered Mom to get Summer Nelson as my babysitter, man…. It would definitely be a ‘great summer’ & Mom wouldn’t have to ‘worry about me’ but just pay her for a ‘good job well done’! for Dan who replied to suzanna nash: you can’t be naive enough to think that 14 yr. old girls aren’t having consensual sex wuth older guys. they are and the ridiculous double standard says that the 14 yr.old girls “don’t like it”. take it from me, that’s a bunch of crap. and as far as 10 yr. old boys getting “raped” by women. come on for pete’s sake. how can anyone consider it to be “rape” when the 10 yr. old “victim” keeps moaning and begging for more. yet women “predators” who are giving these boys exactly what they want and NEED are getting their lives ruined FOR NO REASON. for pete’s sake people, take off your blinders and see the truth. boys and girls, yes as young as 10’ think about sex, want to have sex, love having sex and will have sex if the opportunity presents itself. these young boys and girls are not doing anything wrong.they are not “being hurt”. and their older sex partners are not doing anything wrong either. they are engaging in consensual sex as everybody has done for as long as people have existed.

NO ONE IS BEING “HURT” and these women who are giving these boys exactly what they want and NEED are having their lives ruined FOR NO REASON. these boys and girls and their older sex partners are not doing anything “wrong”. they are doing what is natural and necessary that everyone has been doing since people existed. yet banks and mortgage companies have been foreclosing on homes and taking them away from families, which DOES hurt kids, but no one thinks it’s horrible. but if it’s about children having sex with an older person, or anyone for that matter, it’s thought of as a terrible heinous thing. the laws need to be changed so that kids can have consensual sex with anyone of their choosing. it should be acknowledged that having sex does not hurt kids, but the opposite does. people’s lives should not be shattered and ruined just because they did what everyone does, even if their sex partner is a willing young boy or girl. parents think they “own” their childs bodies, just like property. it’s “your mine and I own every thing about you and that includes all your bodyparts. you can’t give them to anyone as long you’re living under my roof”. for pete’s sake people take off your blinders and see the truth that’s all around you. and remember how YOU had to hide your desire to have sex. was it in the bathroom with your right hand or in bed with the pillow?

to Ems who replied to shannon: shannon is merely putting the obvious into words. many people will take the hypocritical position just as you did. your attitude toward sex reflects what’s wrong with todays society. just because a person states what is plain and obvious, that person is immediately branded as being a pedophile. that is the kind of thinking that led to the McMartin fiasco where innocent peoples lives were ruined. in that case, some of the kids, who were only five yrs old, ended up accusing the police who were invovled in the case, of taking them to the moon. if you truly think that speaking the plain truth is cause for “seeking professional help” then your own perception of what’s real is flawed.
