If you own an iPhone and have a bladder, this application is for you.

There's nothing worse than sitting through a movie when you've just GOT to go to the bathroom. You never know when's a good time to duck out without missing the most hilarious scene or key plot point. Sure, when you get back, you can ask someone the inevitable "What did I miss?" but that's as annoying as opening a bunch of crinkly candy or forgetting to turn off your cell phone.

That's why RunPee is the latest "must-have" iPhone app. Not only does the program give you the optimum time in the movie to dash to the bathroom, it also gives you a summary of what you missed sent right to your phone -- right when you get back.

The RunPee website claims it's perfect for pregnant women because "Who needs to RunPee more than expecting mothers?" Be warned: moms going to the movies with young kids might think twice about asking them to hold it until RunPee's scheduled "pee-time" -- or you'll spend the rest of the flick mopping up the floor.

That is actually pretty cool. I always have to pee during the movie.

That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. If you have to pee that bad maybe you should just stay home.

Or you can wear an adult diaper like that lady astronaut did.

Thanks for saying such nice things about my website here. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of unexpected exposure. I never saw this coming. The site was originally meant to be a project for learning more about creating Flash websites that interact with a database.

I never thought about how useful this could be to expectant mothers until my friends wife was pregnant. She swore that RunPee was the greatest idea ever. I thought she was just exaggerating but now I get that response a few times a day.

@Anonymous - I can’t say that I disagree. I thought it was a pretty dumb idea myself when I started working on it. But it was fun and educational so I kept with it. Glad I did now.
