Guanabee: A premature baby in Paraguay was found to be alive hours later right before he was taken to a funeral wake. The father's baby Jose Alvarenga discovered that his son was still alive after he head a cry coming from the box where he was placed.

"I opened it to look at his remains and found that the baby was breathing," said the father. "I began to cry."

The baby has returned to the hospital and is currently in intensive care. The head of the maternal department at the hospital said that the doctor Richard Sotelo failed to check the baby's vital signs.

Sotelo said he attempted to revive the baby for an hour before pronouncing him dead. The pulse was so low that it was undetectable.

The tiny little thing weighed only 580 grams and the doctors say its a miracle the baby survived.
