WDBO.com: The prosecution in the Casey Anthony murder case has wrapped up a week and a half of depositions, questioning family members in preparation for trial.

Thursday, attorney Brad Conway was on the TODAY Show discussing the latest.

In this round of depositions conducted by the state, there were no explosions of emotion that were seen during questioning in Casey Anthony's civil trial, Conway said.

"This one was legitimate preparation for trial," he said. "That was a publicity stunt."

Conway, who was present at the depositions of George and Cindy Anthony, said the state asked about the events surrounding Caylee's disappearance last summer and the scent of death in Casey Anthony's car.

"It was basically a recap of everything that's been said before," Conway said.

The first pretrial hearing is set for January.
