After reading the latest offensive Twitter messages sent by Travis Barker, I couldn't help but want to shout, "Is there no dignity left at all!"

Michelle Golland, Psy.D: We really don't want to know about your marriage problems over twitter Travis; it doesn't make you look like a very responsible or mature parent. My hope is that this type of behavior can be used in court to justify his inability to control his temper.

The poor children are obviously being put in the middle of a heated and dysfunctional relationship. The police were called to the home due to an intense fight. For Travis to say, "My babies [sic] mama is a pile of sh*t," shows his total disregard for the feelings of his children. I argue if he is willing to twitter these types of statements, I bet he says them in front of his children as well.

Parents, please don't use twitter or Facebook to retaliate publicly against your ex. You must rise above your own anger and have some grace and dignity in these very personal matters. If you aren't concerned about yourself -- at least do it for your kids. They are watching, reading and listening.
