Recession 101: Giving New Life to Old Soles

Thursday, September 17, 2009
filed under: win it

With today's economy, many consumers are turning to do-it-yourself methods to save -- even when it comes to fashion. Repairing and caring for your shoes instead of running out to buy a new pair is a smart investment in today's penny-pinching world. The price for getting your shoes re-heeled or re-soled can run $8-12 versus $70 and up for a new pair all together. Now that's smart spending.

Five lucky winners will receive a year supply of Shine to Go all in one polisher to help them keep their favorite shoes in tip-top shape.

Nothing new. My mom did that with our shoes when we were kids in the 70s.

It’s not surprise that as a woman, I LOVE SHOES. But, I hate it when one of my favorite pair becomes extremely worn. I would love to give life to it. Neat giveaway.
