Courteney Cox Revs Up to Have Second Child

The "Cougar Town" star is 45 years old.
At 45, Courteney Cox says she's "revving up" to have her second child.
"We're not trying yet. We're revving up the engines," she told OK magazine. "I'm only ready 'cause time's a-ticking. If I was 34, I'd wait another year, because I like those three-to-four gaps. I want Coco to be helping me with the next one. One child is hard. Two is probably harder."
"Fantastic that Courteney Cox and her husband are looking to expand their family!" says Karen Roeb, Clinical Administrator of Fertility Miracles. "They can definitely be successful depending upon the fertility route that they choose. Whether they use their own genetic DNA, an egg donor, a surrogate, or a combination, an IVF clinic will only enhance their journey."
Did you have a child when you were over 40? Was it difficult to get pregnant? Share your story below.
I just had my third child at 39 years old a few weeks ago. I suffered from preclampsia towards the end and had to deliver 8 weeks early. I’m done. I can’t phantom having a child at 45. Perhaps surrogacy may be the route for Courtney.
Better get moving Courtney; you’re not getting any younger.

I had five pregnancies. The first two kids were born when I was 37 and 38. Then I had 2 miscarriages - a month before my 40th birthday and at 40 1/2. I went to a fertility specialist to see if another baby was viable. During the month of “testing” I was on a low dose of clomid and became pregnant and our third daughter was born 3 months before I turned 42 and it was the easiest pregnancy of all of them!
